About Karli Pretorius

I hold a BSc Honours degree in Hydrology and Geohydrology as well as a BSc degree in Environmental- and Biological Science (Geology and Geography). I am passionate about research and therefore, I have decided to continue swimming in the education stream by tackling a Masters degree in Hydrology and Geohydrology. Currently, I am balancing part-time study with full-time work. I have a strong research background with experience in groundwater and surface water modelling, storm water management, hydrochemistry and geophysics. I am a very energetic and goal driven individual. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life and I am determined to learn a thing or two from each and every one of them. I am a very neat worker and planning is crucial in my everyday life to produce excellent efficiency and a high standard of work. I believe that knowledge only becomes wisdom once it is shared otherwise it is merely a secret and because of this I thrive to share what I know and to learn as much as possible from others.
