About Karly Havens

I have always had a passion for animals which led me to enroll in the Animal Science program with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. While obtaining my degree I developed a new passion which is laboratory work and research. This helped me excel in such courses as biology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, zoology and many more. This is what drove me to a new chapter in my life at Rasmussen College where I pursued my love for laboratory science. I excelled in the program and was excited to get into the work force again. The health field is constantly changing and improving which allows me to enhance my knowledge and clinical skills. I am outgoing, enthusiastic in my work, and am extremely determined. My love for knowledge helps me excel in any position I am placed in. I look at every experience as an opportunity to learn and grow from.
