About Karolin Andersson

I hold a certificate as an HR Specialist, which give me a solid foundation in labor law, people strategy, and organizational development. From there, I’ve built experience in consultant management, external workforce operations, supplier collaboration, and resource planning. Currently, I’m an External Workforce Advisor at Vattenfall’s Resource Management Center, where I make sure the right competence is in the right place at the right time. I act as a single point of contact for our framework suppliers, support hiring managers with consultant call-offs, and work to ensure compliance with agreements. I’m also part of driving the project to centralize consultant procurement across Vattenfall, with the goal of making our processes more cost-efficient, compliant, and future-focused through better use of data. In my previous role as Consultant Manager, I learned what it really means to connect people with opportunities – balancing client needs, consultant ambitions, and business requirements. It gave me valuable insight into talent acquisition, contracts, and business development, and shaped how I work today. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Store Manager, where I discovered the importance of engaged teams, strong customer focus, and creating a good workplace culture. Even though it was in a different industry, those lessons about people and leadership are still at the heart of how I work, and the experience shaped my deep sense of "happy customer-orientation". I enjoy roles where structure meets flexibility, and where I can combine strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving. What motivates me most is helping people and organizations grow through processes that are not only efficient – but also sustainable and centered around the people themselves.
