About Karoline Makely

I am passionate about helping others, which drives me as an aspiring clinical social worker. I am a recent MSW graduate with a certificate in trauma-informed clinical social work. I am driven by a deep commitment to supporting healing and resilience in youth facing mental health challenges. Most of my experience has centered on pediatric and adolescent settings, including inpatient care and residential treatment. Most recently, I served as a Clinical Social Work Intern at a residential mental health program for adolescent girls, where I provided therapeutic support to clients with histories of trauma and high-risk behaviors. Through this work, I’ve strengthened my skills in trauma-informed care and therapeutic engagement within a structured environment. My experiences have strengthened my ability to build meaningful connections with clients, understand their unique challenges, and support their healing and growth. I am dedicated to continuing my career in clinical social work by advocating for clients and implementing practices to promote resilience and well-being so they can thrive. As I begin the next chapter of my career, I am seeking opportunities to continue providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
