About Karoline Vavra

As a Health and Physical Education (Aquatics) Teacher at Pocono Mountain West High School my strong personal dedication to health and fitness helps provide a high quality, healthy message for the youth to emulate. My goal as an educator is to help youth students to achieve “Fitness for Life,” and to use these skills to become strong, healthy, productive members of society. I believe in challenging the youth to learn, encouraging them to try, and giving them support when needed, all in a respectful and safe learning environment. I possess the dedication, commitment, and desire to as an educator who will help the youth develop into well-rounded, self-thinking individuals. My background, experiences, and education have fueled my passion for developing youth athletes and student-athletes who will surpass the burnout caused by the physical, mental, and social factors found to hinder self-esteem and sport participation. I am personally committed to helping individuals develop and thrive as ambitious and successful athletes at the youth and collegiate level.
