About Karon Storr

I returned from 12 months in Europe, where I travelled extensively in Italy, doing a variety of voluntary work. I had 4 months travelling in the United Kingdom, before returning to Italy for olive picking season. My background has always had a strong element of service excellence, from my business ownership years, to my NZ Coordinator role, placing clients with a permanent disability into rewarding, stimulating employment opportunities. I enjoy connecting and engaging with a diverse range of business people and members of the community. I love the opportunity to support a company in lifting the level of service experience offered to its clients, and my roles over the years have enabled me to develop strong networks within the business community. My skill set covers sales and new business development, management, client/stakeholder relationship building, marketing, communications, social media and blogging, networking, events and functions, major donors, legacy giving, submissions to grant makers, trusts and foundations, corporate sponsorship and community fundraising activity. My strength is in establishing a rapport, finding a solution which is mutually beneficial, delivering on promises and conscientious follow up.
