About Karrah Keaton

Karrah Keaton recently graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Masters in Science in the field of Media and Communication with Distinction. She is the Area Manager at Scissors & Scotch in Brentwood, TN and Scissors & Scotch in Franklin, TN. Her role is to manage employee and client relations as well as host company events and create marketing material. On the side, she does Freelance recruiting for Robert Hess Search Group. After graduating from UK, Karrah worked as the Brand Marketing Associate and Event Coordinator for Project Heart. She gained a wide experience in social media marketing and event planning. Karrah continues to strive to make an impact and form relationships with community members to help further the mission of Project Heart, to cure CHD. In 2018, Karrah graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Art in Integrated Strategic Communication, focus in Public Relations. She also has a double minor in Communication and Health Advocacy. During Karrah's time at the University of Kentucky she found a love for working in the nonprofit and healthcare field. During Karrah's four years at the University of Kentucky, she was very involved with Phi Mu, Public Relations Student Society of America and DanceBlue. During her second year of membership in Phi Mu she was given the opportunity to serve as the Philanthropy Chairman. She also served as the Event Coordinator for PRSSA. Additionally, Karrah volunteered with DanceBlue and was a team captain for the 2017-2018 year.
