About Karri Baker

An experienced and highly motivated, mental health therapist. Highly compassionate, empathetic, active listener and communicate. I am able to build rapport fairly easy as I am open-minded and non-judgmental. As someone who has experienced struggles with substance use in my early years, I have an understanding and can empathize with those struggling with addiction. With almost 20 years clean my deepest passion is to give back and help others walk out of their darkest time, dealing with addiction, depression, anxiety, serious mental health diagnosis. Working in an inpatient facility, having done individual counseling and court ordered community programming I have a vast range of experience working with different populations, with a vast range of diagnosis/struggles. I love working as a team to coordinate the best possible care of those we serve, I am also able to work well independently while checking in with my supervisor or team as needed. I am never afraid to ask questions if I am unsure of the answer or the best course of action. I am currently in the process of applying for my LAC as well and should have my license within the next 6 months.
