About Karsten Egetoft

At SAP Fioneer I focus on the office of the CFO in the banking industry. Based on the deep understanding of our FSI customers and working closely with our partners, I act as trusted advisors to SAP Fioneer customers worldwide. I am part of the Business Unit Finance & Risk Management. Our team provide guidance, roadmaps, and workshops that help customers understand how to maximize value from their SAP Fioneer and partner solutions to improve the data management capabilities used for finance, risk and regulatory reporting processes. I am a trained banker with a degree in informatics and financing working in the software industry for more than 25 years. In my current role as chief solution expert at SAP Fioneer I focus on data management and analytics for the banking industry. I am the solution owner of Fioneer Financial Services Data management (FSDM) focusing on solution strategy and go-to-market. With FSDM we combine the technology platform SAP S/4HANA and the Financial Services Data Management (FSDM) solution into an open data management platform for finance, risk and regulatory reporting. FSDM offers a next generation data management approach in banking which includes a pre defined data model for end-to-end banking analytical scenarios in the areas of finance, risk and regulatory reporting. I am passionate about understanding the challenges of our customers and to bring business and IT people together to help them bridge the gap that is often seen in large organizations. I love learning new tools and methodologies to understand customer needs and to match the right solutions to our customers business challenges helping them on their digital transformation strategy.
