About Karsten Ovesen

COMPETENCE: I have solid experience from development of larger mechanical products from sheet metal, die-cast aluminum and polymers as well as smaller electronics for high volume production. I also have long experience with securing function and quality from suppliers and manufacturers, mainly in Asia and Europe in connection during industrialization of new products – from concept via prototyping and pre-series production to final release – by leading supplier meetings and securing all necessary communication between external and internal stakeholders. AMBITION: To perform where I am at my best: in the center of the action, leading development and people towards the goal. I will focus on function and quality in any given project or product and on being perceptive to and responsive on individuals and groups – this is where I want to be. Long term I am open to additional challenges in leading roles such as product manager or line manager, preferably in some technical area because that’s where my heart is.
