Background

About Karthik Nookala

I am a dynamic and flexible engineer with a multi-disciplinary experience in execution of offshore projects covering floating structures mooring systems T&I and subsea construction. I keep safety and quality at the heart of everything and maintain the courage to speak up – be it to stop an unsafe activity or not shying away to seek help if needed. Having studied and worked internationally including offshore I genuinely embrace diversity & inclusion and treat everyone with equity and respect. I am enthusiastic about solving complex engineering problems through innovation and collaborating with subject matter experts and highly skilled teammates. I work with an open mind and willingness to take up diverse responsibilities to support business needs in technical or managerial roles. I thrive in fast paced environments by prioritizing my work trusting my team and focusing on effective communication. By working in various phases of major projects from early design through to operations I developed strong business acumen and an agile mindset for decision making and managing risk (cost vs. value addition vs. schedule). I am recognized for driving technical excellence and critical thinking and I am valued for having a strong ownership and honesty. I have an innate passion for offshore projects and technologies and I feel motivated by sailing through their complexity and challenge. Born out of my conviction that every individual plays a part in sustainability is my aspiration to get involved in offshore wind or marine renewable energy projects in future where my technical skills are greatly transferable and I can add value with my project experience.
