About Kartik Prasanna

The essence of an independent mind lies not in what it thinks, but how it thinks."- Christopher Hitchens Innovation, deep knowledge, passion and adaptability. The four qualities most important for a successful engineer, and the four qualities I, as an engineering student, admire and try to inculcate in myself the best I can. My true passion lies within the field of automotive engineering. Large chunks of my time go into researching and learning the historic development of automobiles and the concept of the motorized vehicle. It might be uncommon for an engineering student, but history, philosophy and religion are also topics I find immensely interesting. Having traveled all over India and studied in various schools, and having had first hand experience in different ways of living and thinking, the study of culture, tradition, leadership and hierarchy in communities etc. are topics I love to read and learn about. They say that knowledge is power, and I couldn't agree more. My mind is never at rest and always filled with questions and an insatiable curiosity for knowledge. Saurav Banerjee very rightly says,"A busy mind is the store of great ideas", and a future rich with opportunities, ideas and innovation is something I greatly look forward to.
