About Kasha Roseta

Before becoming a lawyer, I earned a B.S. in Social Policy from Northwestern University, an M.P.A. from the University of Washington’s Evans School, and a secondary teaching certificate. I spent the next five years teaching middle school language arts, social studies, and humanities, coaching basketball, soccer, and rugby, as well as taking students on a variety of outdoor education adventures. In 2014, I graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law and passed the Washington bar exam. I then worked in private practice for just over two years, primarily in general civil litigation. In 2017, I returned to the world of public service, and have been working in the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Equity and Civil Rights Office ever since. Working as an educator and lawyer has made me adept at multi-tasking, efficiently researching, evaluating, and delivering information, whether orally or in writing, thinking on my feet, and maintaining grace under fire. I credit my competitive drive, time management skills, and willingness to step outside my comfort zone to the time I spent balancing school and Division I college soccer at Northwestern University.
