About Kashi Chellen

With a BA in Events Management accredited by the University of Sussex, I am a Community and Events Executive at The Happiness Index, a company that helps organizations measure and improve employee happiness and engagement. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and accessible work environment that values the human aspects of people management. In my current role, I curate and manage the Employee Engagement and Happiness community on on LinkedIn, and keep them updated on HR trends and news via newsletters and webinars. I also plan and execute in person conferences and webinars on relevant topics, such as mental health, diversity, and culture, and create the content and assets that go along with them. Additionally, I am developing a social media strategy that consists of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, where I showcase our company culture, values, and insights. Previously, I worked as a Talent Coordinator at BIMM Institute, where I focused on inclusion and enterprise within the Talent Match service, a job matching service that sources work opportunities for underrepresented groups of students and alumni across the creative industries. I managed 16 students who received business training, coaching, and funding through the Greenhouse Enterprise Programme, and represented the company on multiple occasions as a speaker or interviewee with industry partners. I have acquired a wide range of skills from my experiences, including communication, organization, event planning, social media, copywriting, digital asset creation, public speaking, and project management. I am always eager to learn new things and expand my network, and I enjoy working with people who share my vision of promoting happiness and well-being in the workplace.
