About Kassidy Richards

Hello there! I am a graduate from Ohio State University's College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science in the pharmaceutical sciences. The sciences were always my favorite subjects to learn about. When I started my degree program through the college of pharmacy, I was very intrigued by the science of the human body, how certain diseases affect it, and how researchers and pharmacists use science to combat certain illnesses. I am currently seeking opportunities to further my education within the healthcare-system. I aspire to work in a hospital lab setting as part of the pathology team. Toward the end of my undergraduate career, I thought I wanted to be a teacher. I love teaching and sharing my passion for science with the sophomores, juniors, and seniors that I have now, but I do not believe it is a good long-term fit or career option for me. I love taking on new challenges and making discoveries. The rigor and uncertainty that the laboratory setting and the fields of pathology have are what draw me to this new career path and I am eager to start learning!
