About Kat Baker

I’m a learning and experience leader with 15 years’ expertise spanning Learning & Development, higher education, EdTech, startups, and scaleups. My work combines people development, digital learning, and customer success with a strong focus on data-driven insights and change management. I’ve designed and delivered programmes in partnership with LSE, King’s College London, Cambridge, DIT, and Boston College, and partnered with employers such as Sky, DocuSign, and Thoughtworks to connect learning with real-world outcomes. My experience covers onboarding, leadership pathways, digital communities, and coaching (500+ sessions delivered), all aimed at improving engagement, retention, and long-term success. Alongside this, I’ve led strategic projects that transformed how teams and learners experience support. These include analytics projects linking CSAT to learner behaviours and Orientation feedback (informing programme redesign and reducing attrition), and the Student Success Strategy, which trebled returner rates and maintained CSAT scores while scaling Success Manager ratios from 75:1 to 150:1. What drives me is helping people unlock their potential and supporting organisations to thrive through learning, innovation, and inclusive, future-ready experiences.
