As a seasoned Buyer with a passion for sustainable sourcing and ethical procurement, I have dedicated nearly a decade to the dynamic world of Organically certified botanicals and Dietary Supplements. I thoroughly enjoy supplier relationship management in existing relationships, or identifying new partners to support the needs of the business as it evolves. A snapshot of my experience includes writing LTAs to provide economically sustainable conditions at origin, supporting the establishment of grower projects through consultation on regulatory and botanical business aspects, and traveling to origin to deepen supplier relationships and inform global strategies. I believe that long-term relationships are a key to long-term growth in business. My journey has been marked by a commitment to supply chain sustainability, from championing regenerative agriculture to promoting supply chain transparency and social sustainability initiatives. My scientific background strongly informs how I approach my job. I am highly analytical and detail-oriented, making it easy for me to serve the needs of cross-functional partners such as QA and R&D. I hold a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Agriculture from Oregon State University and a Master Certificate in Advanced Procurement Management/Strategic Sourcing from Michigan State University.
