I worked within West Yorkshire Police from 2010 to 2025, having worked as an Accredited Financial Investigator since 2015. I worked on a large number of criminal investigations involving Money Laundering, Fraud and Terrorist Financing, developing my investigative skills and financial crime knowledge. My role required me to undergo a high level of training, maintaining a professional portfolio to maintain my financial accreditation. I also trained in cryptocrrency and worked on a number of cases involving financial crime using cryptocurrency. I worked with 2 charities - SNAPS and Made with Music for a number of years in admin roles after attending with my son, who has left-side hemiplegia. I supported the charities with all of the administrative work and found this a fulfilling and enjoyable addition to my life and career. I started working at the FCA in March 2025 as an Associate for the Unauthorised Business Department and am looking forward to starting a new challenge!
