About Kat Steffens

Kat has worked both in front of and behind the camera professionally in the LA, Texas, and Chicago markets, and can be seen playing lead roles in major motion pictures, HBO, Amazon Video, and Hulu. Currently repped in TX, NM, and LA by Bankston Talent Agency. She owns Trifecta Acting and Performance Training LLC with two studio locations in San Antonio and Dallas/Fort Worth TX. Expanding nationally for corporate training and adding studio locations in Louisville KY. She and her team provide ongoing acting for film training, private audition coaching and taping for professional actors, college audition coaching and taping, and summer intensives. She grew her business with zero capital, and with no investors or business loans from her living room while going through a divorce with two toddlers during Covid. It is now one of the most recognized and reputable acting studios in the state of Texas. In addition to classical and contemporary acting methods, Kat uses somatic methods, mindfulness techniques, and the science of the brain applied to corporate performance work to achieve peak performance while having holistic real life applications off camera as well. She was honored to be selected as a top tier guest artists for the Texas Thespians and trained the theatre educators in the state. She also served as head of acting for the city funded East Side Youth Content Creator Program and now is the director of curriculum development. She is currently getting her certification in Feldenkrais Method, working on writing a book, and focusing on bringing her unique Trifecta Method to corporate training settings.
