About Katariina Alainen

I have an analytical mind and a unique range of skills and experience. I generate ideas and solve difficult problems, I'm single-minded, self-starting and dedicated. My driving force is curiosity; I want to take things apart and see how they tick. I love technology, games and gamification. And Excel! Currently as a Business Engineer I work as a one woman team in Nordic Insurance Operations, my main responsibilities being technical development & maintenance of our Nordic product portfolio and Product & Services domain development planning while also doing various bits and pieces in various projects in collaboration with our Nordic team. At mySafety I've done everything from cold calling to leading TM and CS teams, analyzing customer data and planning out customer journeys and processes along with the total customer experience. For a long time I worked in a business support role as a sort of Jill of All Trades, dealing with various technical projects, partners, products, processes, analytics, training, localization etc. In my previous career I worked as an event producer, organizing concerts and events for Japanese artists in Finland for audiences of a few hundred to a few thousand people. Boy do I have some stories to tell!(But I won't.) If you think we have shared interests or something in common, I'd love to connect and share ideas!
