About Katariina Montti

With experience as a Project Manager at Karelia University of Applied Sciences, I have developed strong competencies in project coordination, planning, and execution. I have managed the Smart Event Managers project, which aimed to create innovative solutions for sustainable and accessible event management in the North Karelia region. Prior to that, I worked as a Producer at Joensuu Event Services, where I was responsible for producing and delivering high-quality events. I have also been involved in the production of the Ilosaarirock festival area, one of the largest and most popular music festivals in Finland. In both roles, I have demonstrated my ability to work with diverse stakeholders, meet tight deadlines, and ensure customer satisfaction. My passion for cultural and social events stems from my academic background in cultural management, which I obtained from Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences. I also have fluent language skills in Finnish and in English, which enable me to communicate effectively with different audiences and markets. I am looking for the next adventure where I can apply my skills and experience to create impactful and memorable experiences.
