Background

About Katarzyna Nowacka

A dynamic and socially conscious communications professional; passionate about arts, and seeking to create positive impact on policy and society.I am a versatile, highly adaptable person, who has lived in seven different countries (Poland, Netherlands, UK: England and Scotland, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Germany), and therefore is used to working in an international and multilingual environment. As far as both my employment history and personal interests are concerned, I specialise in arts, urban culture, public sector, EU affairs, education, community organisations and writing. Within those, I mostly work with communications, events coordination and research, though my curriculum is very diverse, and I also have an extensive experience of working in hospitality, tourism and customer service, which I find relevant and easily transferable to other sectors. I have strong people and storytelling skills, and usually am perceived as a creative type, but at the same time I am a realist, and I consider myself a practical, resourceful person and a good problem-solver, who is always eager to take on challenges and explore new areas of work.
