About Kate Albarella

Kate Albarella is a licensed and registered dietitian in Florida as well as a certified eating disorder specialist and approved supervisor through the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp). Additionally, she is also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. She specializes in the treatment of clinical eating disorders, disordered eating, and chronic dieting. Kate utilizes an ‘all foods fit’ nutrition philosophy with Intuitive Eating principles, while working from a Health at Every Size ® approach. This allows her to meet the individual needs of her clients. Kate graduated from the University of New Haven in Connecticut and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Saint Joseph. She is currently pursuing her master’s in mental health counseling through Southern New Hampshire University. Her background includes working as a clinical dietitian helping patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while writing and creating policies for refeeding syndrome, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder, and more. She has experience working with nearly every disease state and has had the privilege of presenting on the topic of eating disorders at various conferences and universities. She strives to bring compassion and understanding to every family and client she works with.
