About Kate Appleton

As the Director of Research & Development - Immuno-Oncology at KIYATEC, I led a team of scientists and engineers in the development and validation of novel 3D cell culture models and assays for immuno-oncology applications. With over ten years of experience in biomedical research, I have a strong background in ex vivo drug evaluation across solid tumor indications including, ovarian cancer, NSCLC, glioma, and melanoma, as well as multiple patents and publications in the field. I am passionate about advancing the understanding and treatment of cancer, and I am committed to delivering high-quality and innovative solutions that can improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. I value collaboration, creativity, and excellence, and I strive to foster a culture of learning and growth within my team and across the organization.
