About Kate Bailey

Kate’s business expertise has been cultivated over 20 years of in-the-trenches experience. A former magazine editor and journalist, she left the industry in 2008 to launch a boutique media consulting agency with a focus on high-end architecture, design, arts & culture, real estate development and luxury hospitality brands. In 2014, she founded TARRA, a hospitality-driven work club focusing on innovative, forward-thinking brands and entrepreneurs. Bailey graduated from Colorado College with a BA in History, earned a Masters of Liberal Arts with a focus on History from Boston University, and an Executive MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management. Recognized as a 2024 Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business by Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and acknowledged among Denver's top 100 creatives by Westword magazine, she is a seasoned speaker and panelist on a variety of topics, from leadership and startup culture to hospitality. Kate has also developed collaborations and experiences with partners such as JP Morgan Private Bank, JP Morgan Chase, FirstBank, Founder Shield, Uncommongood, Squeeze, Freshworks, Denver Startup Week, Wander & Ivy, and the Women's Foundation of Colorado among others.
