As the Administrative Manager at BC Cancer, I oversee the daily clerical operations and support services of various cancer care programs. I work with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, researchers, and administrators to ensure the delivery of high-quality and patient-centered care. I am responsible for managing budgets, recruitment, leading staff as well as implementing workflows and best practices.I have a BA in Psychology and Counselling and I am passionate about mental health, substance use, and allied health services. I have over five years of experience in the health care sector, working in various administrative and leadership roles for Fraser Health Authority and Provincial Health Services Authority. I have developed core competencies in office administration, patient support, program coordination, and contract analysis. I am eager to pursue a Master's in Health Administration to further my knowledge and skills in this field.
