About Kate Bloor

With almost 20 years’ experience in the UK residential market, I specialise in Build to Rent (BTR), operations and strategic consultancy. I’ve worked with global companies and independent developers across sales, lettings, management and consultancy, helping bring ambitious schemes to life and making sure they work for the people and communities they’re built for.As Operations Director at Reside, I led the company’s first BTR scheme through the turbulence of the pandemic, achieving 97% occupancy, growing annual rental income by over 40%, and delivering a successful funder exit. Now, through Kate Bloor Consultancy, I work hand-in-hand with developers, investors and property professionals to create better homes, build inclusive communities, reduce operational costs and support the people who bring these spaces to life.I’m passionate about creating spaces where people can thrive. Homes that feel good to live in, run smoothly and stand the test of time. My approach is collaborative and hands-on, blending strategic insight with empathy and attention to detail. As a leader, I focus on building empowered teams and strong partnerships rooted in trust and complete transparency.Based in Manchester, I work across the UK and Europe and am currently completing a Level 7 Coaching qualification to support senior professionals to lead with confidence in a changing world.
