About Kate Chambers

I am a speech-language pathologist clinical fellow and a recent graduate student of George Washington University where I earned my Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology. I completed my Bachelor's at Temple University with a minor in French and certificates in American Sign Language and Linguistics. As a graduate student extern, I had the opportunity to provide therapy services in ASL and English to D/deaf and hard-of-hearing students in early intervention, early childhood education, elementary school, and high school. At GWU, I was selected to work as a graduate teaching assistant with a professor on undergraduate ASL and Deaf culture coursework. I also took courses in Aural Rehabilitation, Bilingualism, and AAC and observed an audiologist during clinical rotations. I hope to gain more experience working with multilingual and bimodal populations in various settings while furthering my American Sign Language fluency.
