About Kate Coy

My educational background is in psychology, sociology, and social work, and I have vast experience in wellness and mental health services, including 6 years in face-to-face mental health therapy. I currently serve as Chief Clinical Officer of Odyssey House, a nonprofit organization providing mental health and substance use disorder programs including residential and outpatient treatment programs. In my role, I oversee the work of 4 Program Directors overseeing 9 agency-wide programs. My key operational responsibilities include clinical oversight, compliance, quality, evaluation, and audit. Within this complex structure, I have led cross-functional teams and driven strategic initiatives, including a new Electronic Health Record system and a program evaluation framework. I have also innovated training programs and compliance strategies. I have earned a reputation for being a respected advisor and business builder, creative thinker, and highly skilled people and project manager. I’m a self-directed and innovative leader, able to quickly assess situations and execute solutions.
