About Kate Cushman

I have an unconventional analyst background, but that’s what sets me apart from the average analyst and project manager. My creative experience makes me a stand out project manager, analyst, and strategist. From my background of creating visual art and management in the art world, I bring a strong ability to develop projects and strategically paint the full organizational picture. My attention to detail comes from hours in a photographic darkroom focusing negatives under magnification to compose sharp, compelling photographs. I apply the same granular focus to project management, strategic planning, analytics, presentations, team leadership, and client management. My ability to bring a team together toward a common goal comes from years as a collegiate-level athlete and six years as coach. I have natural coaching skills that draw out the individual talents of team members, helping them to excel while keeping the team united and focused on completing the overall objectives successfully. Whether in a team, company, or individual setting, I enjoy helping clients recognize their strengths and weaknesses, visualizing opportunities and solutions, and implementing improvements and change to advance their mission. As my friends love to say about me, “I solve your problems”. I specialize in communications: developing strategies, messaging, branding, design, marketing; process improvements: executing Six Sigma, Lean, CMMI, and Kaizen projects; and, facilitation, team leadership, and management coaching.
