About Kate Dostalek

As the Volunteer Engagement and HR Generalist at Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania (MRC Tas), I leverage my experience in volunteer management and HR to manage and develop the volunteer program and the HR administrative processes of the organization. My core competencies include coordinating nonprofit volunteering, HR and administration. I have successfully built and maintained a network of up to 150 volunteers who contribute to the work of MRC Tasmania, ensuring their volunteer experience is positive, enjoyable, and worthwhile. I guide staff to work with volunteers and enhance the volunteer experience for positive outcomes for the clients and programs. I also have experience in other administrative functions of the organization, such as payroll, finance, and compliance.
