About Kate Ferrell

With over 9 years of work experience in the field of behavioral health, I am a passionate and dedicated Clinical Director at NorthStar Transitions, a leading provider of addiction and mental health treatment services in Colorado. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. My mission is to empower individuals and families to overcome their challenges and achieve lasting recovery and wellness. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have worked with a variety of high needs populations over the course of my career. As the Clinical Director of Outpatient Services, I oversee the clinical operations, quality assurance, and staff development of the outpatient programs, including the partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care. I am responsible for ensuring that the programs deliver evidence-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed care that meets the highest standards of excellence and compliance.
