About Kate Gallagher

20+ years working in financial services and 18 years specifically in the banking sector. I am currently working as an Agile Lead Business Analyst in AIB Bank on a Corporate Banking project and prior to that I worked on various projects in KBC Bank Ireland in the role of a senior business analyst but have adopted other roles under this title for example Project Stream Lead and Project Manager. I am highly motivated and always strive to find the best solution with huge focus on what the customer wants and needs. My current role has been extremely varied so I have been incredibly lucky to develop my skills and broaden my knowledge on a huge number of project related tasks and the SDLC process to include:* Running large workshops to gather requirements.* Helping the business stakeholders to prioritise them using MoSCoW analysis.* Writing business requirement documents * Working with IT solution architects and third party vendors to help translate the requirements.* Reviewing Functional Specification documents to ensure the deliverables measure up against what has been requested * Devising a UAT test strategy to include developing a test matrix, test scripts, user stories and acceptance criteria.* Testing in all environments pre-live deployment * Responsible for holding defect triage meetings to agree priority ratings.* Recreating issues in development environment for developers.* Smoke testing fixes ahead of deployment * Scheduling items for deployment noting specific orders and/dependencies.* Completing parameterisation on T24 and the business process rules for a large and complex mortgage workflow * Conducting business readiness workshops helping the business stakeholders to prepare, adopt and embed the proposed changes.* Providing technical and credit support to frontline users during the pilot and system launch.* Producing various project artefacts to include project plans, budgets, business approach documents, user guides and status reports. I have also experience at both new business mortgage and forbearance underwriting with strong credit and analytical skills.
