About Kate Givoni

Executive Engineering Manager with vast experience of building strategies and teams, transforming working processes (SDLC, Agile, Shift Left), utilizing observability tool (such as Cortex) and delivering end-to-end products successfully. During the past years, I gained profound technical and managerial background in Cloud software engineering paired with extensive practical knowledge in project management and Systems Thinking. My career path includes work in global IT companies, across Australia and overseas. My main passion is to drive happy tech teams to deliver high-quality user value successfully, while shaping them to be fully engaged with the business goals and utilizing agile processes. Naturally, my work is involved with other stakeholders, such as the customers, product management, operations, security, finance, HR, etc. I thrive in organizations that encourage staff to come up with new and creative solutions, collaborate and provide clarity about the business goals. I appreciate transparency, autonomy and new opportunities. Exposure to new technologies, such as AI / ML, ignites my inspiration to think out of the box and enhance the business offering. I learnt through my journey that the way to empower my teams is through trust and delegation.
