About Kate Gray

I knew I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare for many years prior to beginning my degree, as I had spent numerous hours in and around hospital environments due to personal circumstances. From being in these situations and seeing firsthand what a vital role both physically as well as psychologically that excellent nursing care plays in the treatment process for patients, I knew I had found my passion; a job in which I could simultaneously satisfy my interest of in-depth knowledge of the health sciences while being able to provide emotionally supportive care to individuals who are in vulnerable states. Throughout my clinical education, preceptorship training, and clinical career, I have had the opportunity to immerse myself and hone my skillset in a variety of environments within the healthcare field. I'm eager to improve and integrate my nursing skills and knowledge, and I am constantly striving to provide safe, compassionate, and best-practice focused care to every patient and group I am fortunate enough to work with. I’m currently pursuing my passion of emergency medicine and constantly looking for new educational opportunities to improve and strengthen my practice!
