As a palliative care nurse practitioner at AseraCare, I deliver high quality comprehensive medical care to home-based patients with diverse medical conditions. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, monitor and evaluate patient progress, and adjust care plans as needed. I also educate patients and families on disease progression, treatment options, and available resources to empower informed decision making and enhance autonomy.I have a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Adult Gerontology Primary Care from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. I am certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC. I have over two years of experience as a palliative care nurse practitioner and over five years of experience as a registered nurse in various settings, including COVID-19, ICU, SDU/Tele, Med-Surg, and Oncology/Bariatric units. I have received multiple Daisy Awards and a Caring Hands Award for my outstanding patient care and compassion. I am passionate about providing evidence-based, ethical, and holistic care to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
