About Kate Hunter

With 15 years of experience as a therapist, I am deeply passionate about empowering individuals—whether students or clients—to reach their personal and academic goals, overcome challenges, and build meaningful, positive relationships. As the Coordinator of Counseling and Wellbeing at The Baldwin School, I’ve had the privilege of developing and leading a dynamic counseling department. I provide comprehensive support to students and families, focusing on social-emotional, academic, and personal development. My work extends beyond individual counseling, collaborating with faculty, staff, and administrators to cultivate a culture of equity, wellness, and inclusion across the school community. In addition to my counseling expertise, I leverage my background as a clinical supervisor, leadership coach, and DEI consultant to foster professional growth and contribute to the overall wellbeing and success of the entire school ecosystem.
