I initially trained as a teacher in 1997 and have been a Head of Faculty for over 16 years, bringing a wealth of teaching experience across the West Midlands. My diverse background, which includes working in industry and running my own jewellery business, equips me with essential and relevant skills to prepare students for the world of work. I leverage these experiences to provide practical insights and real-world applications, bridging the gap between academic learning and professional success.I am dedicated to developing the next generation of entrepreneurs through innovative and motivational enterprise education. With a passion for equipping students with the essential skills and mindset needed to succeed in today's dynamic business environment, I strive to create learning experiences that inspire creativity, resilience, and strategic thinking. In recent years, my students have participated in and won the Black Country Young Enterprise competition, a testament to the effectiveness of my teaching approach and my commitment to student success.My educational mantra,"money is a motivator" and "everything in life is negotiable," reflects my belief in the practical and adaptable nature of entrepreneurial skills. I emphasise the importance of financial acumen and negotiation skills, encouraging students to see opportunities in every challenge and to understand the pivotal role of financial incentives in driving business success.My commitment to enterprise education is driven by the belief that entrepreneurial skills are not only vital for personal success but also for driving economic growth and social change.
