I am a sociologist and postdoctoral fellow at the Center to Improve Veteran Involvement in Care (CIVIC) at the VA Portland Health Care System, where I research Veteran mental health and suicide prevention. I also teach Sociology 101 as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Portland. My work focuses on mental health and suicide, pain, and health technologies.
