About Kate Lepp

I am proud to be an elementary school teacher, and committed to helping my students learn how to navigate the world with confidence in themselves and society. My job as an educator employs every skill I have learned from my background in theater, communication, customer service, sales, household management and community service. I am an enthusiastic, life-long learner, a generous and skilled collaborator, and an eternal optimist. I was lucky to receive a great education from teachers and parents, and a community who challenged and encouraged me, who nurtured my talents and interests, and who made me feel safe and valued. I aim to do the same for my students, by constantly developing my own professional skills, and teaching them to appreciate the world around them, and their place in it.
