About Kate Lorch

I love people and puzzles. I am a responsive, skilled facilitator with experience leading, teaching, and coaching across sectors, ages, and levels of experience. I mentor instructors, facilitators, and new managers. I enjoy planning staff retreats and community events. Recently I've been working on employee engagement and internal communications. Inclusion and equity are central to my work. I'm dedicated to workshop design and personal transformation that sinks in. Whether I'm hosting a crowd of 65 people in person or working one-on-one in a zoom-coaching session, my interest is in authentic engagement. By tailoring everything I do to the needs of my audience, I create meaningful, joyful, creative gatherings and learning experiences. My credentials: I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching at Brown University and continued with that program to mentor new candidates for the same degree. Four years later I earned the distinction of National Board Certified Teacher, a rigorous process that requires personal reflection, deep collaboration, and innovative community leadership. In January 2020, I became a Designing Your Success Fellow with New Sector Alliance. In spring of 2021, I was a fellow in the UpStart Change Accelerator, working with other intrapraneurs across the US to make systemic change in our Jewish Organizations.
