About Kate McGee

With experience spanning building development, infrastructure development, sustainability, community engagement, entitlements, and implementation, I bring a deep and diverse skill set to the table. Having lived and worked in multiple cities across the world, I have gained a global perspective on planning and development. As a skilled professional, I have assisted in the execution of over 3,500 residential units and 1.7 million square feet of institutional use in San Francisco alone. My expertise extends to overseeing multiple studies on community-integrated renewable energy projects, and I have contributed to the development of San Francisco's Capital Plan for FY 2012-2021. I am an active member of a number of organizations including the Women's Development Collaborative, Lambda Alpha, and SPUR. In recognition of my leadership in the field, I was honored at Bisnow's Power Women Series: The Bay Area's CRE Thought Leaders. When I'm not working, you can find me pursuing my passion for outdoor sports such as kite surfing, backcountry telemark skiing, and marathon running. I have placed 3rd in the Vancouver marathon and 7th in the New York marathon in my age category.
