Her skills as a costume designer, prop maker, and fabricator has lead her to joining a circus, designing for festivals and music videos, creating experiences and running a fabrication shop at California College of the Arts. Born in New Jersey, Kate worked extensively in the New York City film & production industry before moving to the Bay in 2016 to pursue weird and interactive art. During the pandemic they felt a calling and went back to school for permaculture, regenerative land management and resilient design, picking the torch back up from her Sicilian ancestors who started a plant nursery when they arrived in America at the turn of the last century. This new road has lead Kate to working on a regenerative organic farm, practicing food sovereignty and preservation, participating in a restoration intensive, and working with her family and neighbors to make their land more fire and water secure. They truly believe in approaching life holistically and creatively and is striving to marry all of her skills together for a truly unique offering that she hopes will make the world a better and more beautiful place to live in.
