Munro Lawyers is a small specialist tax commercial law practice. The firm principally advises clients introduced by other professionals including accountants, financial planners and lawyers who require specialist advice in relation to all aspects of tax affecting individuals, corporations, trusts and partnerships, including domestic and international taxation. Other clients include major private company groups and high net worth family groups both domestically and internationally. In the highly regulated and complex area of taxation, our technical expertise and our understanding of what clients really want sets us apart from other law firms. I have been working with the firm for over 21 years. I have developed a strong expertise in all aspects of taxation including a broad range of commercial transactions and disputes with Australian revenue authorities. I am a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia and my key areas of practice include: • All aspects of taxation advice – Sale of Business, Corporate Structure advice including taxation consequences of a situation, structure or transaction and state and federal taxation advice (including stamp duties and land tax); • Estate planning and wills, including enduring guardianships, powers of attorneys and Superannuation; • Business and Taxation planning including reviewing and drafting of commercial documents such as Trusts, Self Managed Superannuation Funds, Pensions, Div7A Loan Agreements, Limited Recourse Borrowing arrangements, Shareholder Agreements, Buy and Sell Agreements, Commercial Lease Agreements; • Preparation of ATO & OSR private rulings.
