About Kate Oconnor

I have been involved in the world of disability for a large portion of my life. Currently, I am practicing applied behavioral analysis as a BT for children with Autism. My position now is balanced between clinic hours and home based therapies, in the past I have worked in school settings, for non-profits, and in the public sector. I have experience in job coaching, inclusive community program design, skill acquisition, and developmental and intellectual disabilities. I received a bachelors degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies with a concentration in children’s developmental services, before completing part of a graduate level Rehabilitation Counseling program. I am an advocate for disability rights and am passionate about accessibility and community engagement!
