About Kate Oneil

Discovering my love for the fashion industry as young as ten, I immediately began learning the art of sewing and fashion design. With around eleven years of experience, I have since increased my skillset to selling handmade sewn and embroidered apparel online and in stores. Following this passion, I decided to attend Marist College to pursue a career in Fashion Merchandising and double-concentrating in Business and Promotion. I am extremely interested in luxury brand management, fashion marketing, social media promotion, and international business. I now hope to work in a creative or promotional field post-college in the fashion industry. I was the Director of Merchandise in the Alpha Sigma Tau Delta Epsilon Chapter at Marist College in 2022-2023 through which I handled all facets of designing and distributing merchandise throughout the sorority. At the end of 2023, I was then elected to serve on the e-commerce board as the Vice President of Marketing for the 2024 school year. Through this, I am continuing to design and coordinate merchandise orders as well as self-run all of our social media outlets, promotional events and infographics, and be a leader and role model for my entire chapter. I am a hardworking and heavily driven worker who puts my all into every project and task given. I focus on being personable and approachable to every person I work with and for. I constantly pursue high goals to achieve and spend my free time working on my small business, Grandiose Garments, creating and selling apparel.
