Responsible for the preparation of Travel Plans for commercial and residential sites. Carrying out the Travel Plan Coordinator role on behalf of developers to encourage employees, residents and visitors to sites to travel sustainably. Implementing measures including creating Travel Guides and management of Travel Plan Funds. Preparing travel surveys and subsequent monitoring reports to assess the success of the Travel Plan over the previous year. Liaising with local Councils to discharge planning conditions and spending of S106 funds. Experience in preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements including a review of national and local policy, desk based and site visit accessibility reviews and traffic modelling with the use of Junctions9 (Picady, Arcady and Linsig). Day to day use of CAD, TEMPro, TRICS, TRACC and MapInfo. Particular interest in housing and sustainable development and travel. 2:1 BA Geography and Planning with a First in my dissertation titled ‘an investigation into the perception of social housing in Bradford’.
