About Kate Renner

In a nutshell, I am a storyteller! As a communications leader with 20 years of experience, I create and deliver value and brand loyalty to my customers, executive leadership, stakeholders, and organization's employees through strategic and targeted communications. I have a proven track record of success in the following disciplines: brand management and engagement, content strategy, reputation management, external and internal integrated communications, operations, and strategic planning. My storytelling expertise includes speechwriting, presentation coaching, and public speaking mentoring for executive leadership. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I earned my BA in Communications from Cleveland State University in 2001. I continued my education and received my MA, Mass Communications and Certification in Corporate Communications from the University of Central Florida’s Nicholson School of Communications in 2013. I volunteer my time as a mentor and club president for our Toastmasters International chapter, and have served as the club’s PR director. I adapt to new situations quickly and delivering under high-pressure situations and deadlines while collaborating with cross-functional teams. I am particularly passionate about coaching and developing others, while continuing to engage and learn from other experts in my field.
