About Kate Sage

I may be the biggest bike nerd you ever meet. I have worked in the Bike Industry since 2007 doing everything from retail sales, repairs and service, to graphic design, social media marketing, and most recently purchasing, inventory management and data analysis. But I don’t just like bikes, I also like making money. My nickname as a kid was “Scrooge” because I was always starting a small business and stacking my coins. My recent role as a Brand Manager has allowed me to reconnect with this passion and I am proud of my accomplishments that include astounding growth for every brand I manage. I have consistently increased revenue by up to 150% year over year and turned my brands into the top 3 best performers at AMain Hobbies. I attribute my success to having high standards. I am driven by continuous improvement and I’m not afraid to face my areas of weakness. I seek out constructive criticism because I know its information for where, and how, I can improve, and therefore continue to grow. I consistently pursue training and education of my own volition to turn my weaknesses into strengths. I am a natural leader and consistently find opportunities to support my team and bring groups together with initiatives that help my community grow and thrive. I’ve been in the Bike Industry for a long time, but I continue to find new ways to pursue my passion for bicycles and making money. With all there is to learn, I’m just getting started.
