About Kate Sanchez

From way-finding in the built world to developing patterns in mobile and web devices, my career has always centred on making experiences intuitive. Welcome! My name is Kate and I'm a product designer from Toronto passionate about how design improves our lives; from our physical surroundings, digital spaces, and even our sustainable environments. My diverse professional background has allowed me to problem solve in a variety of industries for physical and digital products. I currently design for theScore, ESPN Bet, and Hollywood Casino (under PENN Entertainment) where I innovate their accounts and iCasino features. My approach is holistic, with the aim of designing products people enjoy while remaining results-driven. As a naturally curious person, I am always looking for new ways to learn and grow which has led me to McMaster University where I am pursuing my Master of Engineering Design in Product Design. On a personal note, some of my hobbies also include reading and listening to audiobooks, miniature model making, and lounging by the water (preferably by a tropical beach but most often by the Great Lakes)!
